Drifting on water follows different rules to asphalt: there is no grip to break, only momentum to redirect, and the boat keeps sliding long after you have stopped turning. Scoring rewards holding that slide rather than snapping out of it.
Because the mouse controls the whole boat, the game is unusually easy to pick up and surprisingly hard to master. Small movements produce long arcs; large ones spin you.
Gold buys faster hulls, which slide further and demand more anticipation in return.
Water conditions stay constant, so improvement is entirely down to how early you commit the turn.
