Most kart-style racers load one track at a time. Super Racing joins its courses together: there are four of them, connected by paths that run between them, so a race carries on from one course into the next instead of stopping at a menu. The goal across the set is to finish with the most points.
The scenery is the reason the connected design works. Routes cross mountains, forests and cities, and the weather shifts and a day and night cycle runs while you race. The same stretch of road can look quite different on a second visit, which keeps the world from feeling like four separate boxes.
You race as a cartoon character, and coins picked up along the way go towards unlocking new cars and new characters.
