The story frame is simple — one driver, a career, a garage that gets faster — and the driving carries it. Early cars need every metre of the straight to make a pass; later ones arrive at the same corner far too quickly, and the skill shifts from finding speed to shedding it.

Rivals are computer-controlled and they defend the inside line, so overtaking is a two-corner plan rather than a single lunge. Get alongside on the exit, hold the outside through the next bend, and the place is yours on the following straight.

1. Start the career and pick your first car.
2. Brake before the corner, not in it — the heavier cars punish late braking.
3. Set up a pass on the exit of the previous bend.
4. Bank the winnings and upgrade before moving up a class.
