Speed Racer
An arcade forest run where fuel drains constantly and pickups on the road keep you moving.
This is a distance run rather than a circuit. The car pulls forward on its own and the fuel gauge falls the whole time, so the road becomes a series of small decisions: take the clean line and lose fuel, or cross two lanes for a canister and risk the traffic that arrives behind it.
Coins and power pickups sit in the same places as the hazards, which is the whole design. Turbo doubles the pace and shortens your reaction window at the same time, so the high score belongs to whoever knows when not to use it.
