There is no race here and no score, which is the appeal. Two environments, a handful of craft and open water to move around in — it is a simulator in the quiet sense of the word.

The submarine is the reason most players stay. Diving changes the controls and the perspective entirely, and the underwater environment is worth exploring on its own terms.

Handling is deliberate throughout, with the slow steering response that boats actually have.

Environments differ in scale rather than in obstacles, and the larger one takes several minutes to cross at cruising speed.

Camera options include a low view at water level that makes the speed feel considerably higher.

1. Pick a boat or the submarine.
2. Steer early — response is slow by design.
3. Dive with the submarine to explore underwater.
4. Switch environments when you have seen enough of one.
