Free Rally Two

Free Rally Two is less a race than a shared playground full of vehicles. It is a multiplayer game, and the main choice you make is what to drive: nine different vehicles are on offer, from a buggy and an ordinary sedan to a police motorbike and even a helicopter.

Several of those vehicles are armed. The description says the helicopter, the buggy and a vehicle called Sofy carry rockets, which turns a drive around the map into something closer to a skirmish when other players are nearby. The police moto has its own trick: an arrest function, so one player can play the law while the others try to avoid it.

That mix gives the game its character. You can drive quietly, fly overhead, chase someone on the police bike or fire rockets from the buggy, and each choice plays differently.
